VERO BEACH, Fla. (CBS Tampa) — A local man was arrested after he called 911 to complain about his mother.
The suspect, 19-year-old Vincent Valvo, reportedly called the emergency reporting service twice in relation to the argument he was having with his mother, WTSP-TV reports.
The disagreement allegedly centered around the fact that he “didn’t like how his mom was talking to him.”
After the first call, operators warned Valvo of the consequences for calling 911 without an emergency to report. However, he called again, and local authorities were subsequently sent to his home.
Police noted that he smelled of alcohol during his arrest, which reportedly took place at 4:30 a.m. on Thursday, the station learned.
He posted a $500 bond and was released Thursday afternoon. WTSP reports that he will have to appear in court next month regarding the incident.
